Counselling/ Therapy appointments involve treatment for specific concerns. Therapy methods and approaches are determined based on concerns presented. Sessions are with a Registered Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist and are therefore covered by many insurance benefits.

Counselling - Masters & Doctoral Student under Supervision of R.Psych.

Sessions are with Masters or Doctoral Student under Supervision of R.Psych's (NOTE: sessions are typically not covered by insurance benefits).
Student Clinicians receive ongoing oversight and supervision from a registered psychologist.

Abanti is a Registered Psychologist and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and Master of Science in Neuroscience. She offers assessment and counselling services to children, youth, and adults for a range of mental health and learning concerns at Little Oaks Psychology.

Abanti has substantial training and experience with psychological assessments via psychometric roles in clinical and research environments working with children, adolescents, and adults. Elise completed her Master of Counselling at the University of Lethbridge. Prior to that she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours Psychology, completing a thesis on the effect of music training on early reading skills. Elise worked for 8 years in early intervention services working with children and families facing behavioural and cognitive challenges while she attended university.

Elise is passionate about working with young children and families to help them feel more connected and confident in their relationships. She works with clients to empower them to build skills to face many challenges, such as developmental delays, ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, OCD, ODD and parenting coaching. Elise also has experience working with trauma survivors. Meet Raquel

Counselling Team Lead - Counselling Therapist - Neurodiversity Consultant

Raquel is designated as a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She is currently completing the Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy program at Yorkville University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Secondary Education from the University of Alberta. Her previous experience as a teacher connects with her counselling practice since she carries a strong belief that psychoeducation is both an important component of preventative care as well as a conduit for impactful behavioural change. Further, Raquel brings a unique perspective having grown up in Edmonton’s Francophone community as well as in a multicultural household.

Raquel creates a safe and empathic space for people to gain insight into the challenges they are facing while using a collaborative approach to work towards attaining their desired goals. Registered Psychologist Clinical Supervisor Clinic Director

Larissa has over 20 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disorders in various settings. She has a strong reputation in comprehensive psychological assessment and intervention, specializing in ADHD, Autism, learning difficulties, exceptionalities, behaviour problems, personality, and parenting concerns. Larissa is a PhD candidate in cognitive developmental psychology, with a specialization in psychopathology and executive functioning across the lifespan.

Larissa provides clinical supervision, consultation, and CAP supervision for provisional psychologists. She is an Adjunct Academic Colleague with the University of Alberta’s Department of Educational Psychology supporting doctoral practicums and internships. She also accepts student interns from the University of Calgary’s School & Applied Child Psychology program, as well as counselling programs including the University of Lethbridge, Yorkville, and City University.
